INXM Raises €5.7M in Pre-Seed Funding to Solve Enterprise AI's Process Execution Problem, introducing Compiled AI

Berlin, 03 June 2026 — INXM, the Berlin-based startup that is building an AI Process Execution Engine for enterprise and Mittelstand operations, today announced that it has closed its Pre-Seed funding round of €5.7 million as it emerges from stealth mode. The round was led by Cherry Ventures and Redstone, with participation from Angel Invest, Linden Capital, and other investors. The funding will power INXM's first enterprise deployments and turn AI from a boardroom promise into a measurable force on the factory floor of Europe's industrial leaders.

Enterprise AI has a reliability problem. Most AI tools produce outputs that vary with each execution. They are often unpredictable, hard to audit, and impossible to hand to a compliance team with confidence. When introduced to the operational reality of a business with messy data, legacy systems, and complex workflows, they break.

"We founded INXM because we've seen first-hand how enterprise AI projects fail: years of implementation, armies of engineers, and AI systems that break more than they fix. Knowledge workers still copy-paste between ERP, PLM, Excel, email, and approval workflows to close a month. We have set out to build AI that finishes the work for you. We're building the system that turns AI from a productivity tool into the operational backbone of European industry and its processes."

Alex Oelling, CEO of INXM

INXM's founders, Alex Oelling, Matthias Kainer, Jesper Bylund, and Kamil Klüber, have spent the past decade designing and deploying mission-critical enterprise systems such as aerospace and deeptech. They know what breaks, and where and why, when traditional AI meets real businesses. INXM is their answer.

INXM builds the first Process Execution Engine for enterprises using Compiled AI. Compiled AI is a new architectural principle: use AI to design and improve processes (so-called Plans at INXM) and then run them deterministically, which combines the flexibility of intelligence with the reliability of execution. The INXM Orchestrator turns user intent into executable Plans, and coordinates work across systems, people, and processes to produce repeatable, auditable outcomes through deterministic executions every time. Instead of asking an LLM to interpret every transaction at runtime, Orchestrator uses AI to help create and improve the Plan. The Process Execution Engine runs it, giving operations teams the predictability they need and compliance teams the audit trail they require.

"At its core, Compiled AI means you use LLMs to generate deterministic, enterprise-ready code. You then run the code to achieve your outcome. This gives you the flexibility of natural language from AI models, but the testability of deterministic code."

Matthias Kainer, CTO of INXM

Moreover, INXM is not another expensive tool to replace existing infrastructure or systems of record, nor does it cost a fortune and take years to implement. Rather, it orchestrates a company's stack to collaborate so processes can be reliably automated in a matter of months.

Industrial operations, as the backbone of the physical economy, face a particular version of the enterprise AI challenge. These organizations carry significant process complexity, lean engineering teams, and low tolerance for multi-year implementation timelines. INXM's approach, which requires no additional engineering staff and creates measurable outcomes within months, is designed with precisely this environment and Enterprise AI Process Execution in mind.

"Enterprise AI is stuck in a paradox: the more ambitious the deployment, the less predictable the outcome. INXM has reframed the problem entirely. It's not about making AI smarter, but making it executable. Compiled AI is a new architectural paradigm, and INXM is the team to define it."

Filip Dames, Founding Partner, Cherry Ventures

"Founders who have brought rocket engines and air taxis to production readiness develop a different mindset than most software teams. They've seen firsthand what it takes to achieve greatness under real conditions — the grit, rigor, and relentless iteration required when systems are pushed to their limits. They understand that AI workflow challenges almost always trace back not only to the models themselves, but to brittle integration with day-to-day operations. INXM is built by people who've lived that."

Michael Brehm, Founding Partner, Redstone

"Enterprises do not need more disconnected AI tools. They need AI that can execute governed, repeatable processes across the systems they already use. INXM is building the orchestration layer that makes this possible: connecting enterprise platforms, humans, and AI to run operational workflows with reliability, traceability, and control at scale."

Jens Lapinski, Founding Partner, Angel Invest

"The next enterprise AI frontier isn't intelligence — it's execution. INXM is building the orchestration layer that turns AI ambition into governed, repeatable operations. That's the category that matters."

Thomas Andrae, Founding Partner, Linden Capital

INXM is built in Europe, with full data ownership and local deployment, designed for the compliance and governance requirements of European enterprise customers.

About INXM

INXM provides Orchestrator, an Intelligent Execution Engine for Enterprise AI Processes. Orchestrator integrates into your existing enterprise platforms to make them work together with the help of Compiled AI. It automates repetitive and complex processes across the entire IT systems (PLM, MES, QMS, ERP) with deterministic, auditable, and repeatable outcomes. Built in Germany by a team with deep enterprise systems experience, Orchestrator is designed for the governance, compliance, and data ownership requirements of European industrial enterprise.
